On the Road to Reno and Back

Terry and I decided to end the summer with an extended trip to Reno. We started up the coast from SoCal, hit Reno and then came back inland through Yosemite and Sequoia.
Our fist stop was Pismo Beach for some of their famous clam chowder and a overnight at a beach front hotel.

Days two and three we stayed in Big Sur and met up with our daughter Jean. This pic was taken at the Nepenthe, and what a wonderful place to meet and have lunch...and later dinner.

After Reno we came home down the 395 and up the Tioga Pass to Yosemite. We have traveled a lot and the Tioga Pass is our favorite road in the US bar none.  :2vrolijk_21:
