Applications are available for voting until November 6, 2009 (yeah, I know seems like a long time from now)
The Top 20 who earn the most votes will advance to Phase II (one vote, per day, per IP and each computer on the same network has a different IP)
For Phase II; I have to create a 90 second video and 250 word personal biography - both to explain why they should be chosen to fill the Contract Blogger Position, the video and essay are evaluated by Naturemade's advertising company on Creativity, Positive Attitude, Ability, Excitement, and General Qualifications.
General Qualifications are defined as, the perfect applicant will also possess the following skills or characteristics, which should be conveyed through the video and/or writing sample submitted: (1) writing experience; (2) understanding of the Internet and social media; (3) positive attitude and work ethic; (4) organization; (5) self-starter; and (6) efficient and responsible.
Phase II will be available for voting from approximately November 17, 2009 and December 7, 2009 (Votes do not carry forward from Phase I)
In addition to a public vote, the top 20 applicants will also be evaluated the the advertising company, the final outcome will be determined by both popular vote (20%) and the panel chosen by the advertising company (80%).
They do not give an exact date as to when the winner will be officially announced. They expect that the whole program will take 6 - 8 week from the start of Phase I.
Yea, that was really boring reading but wanted to try to answer all the questions as to dates, times, locations and how the whole system works.
