There is a Nationwide Epidemic
In the past several years I have experienced dealerships all over North America that do not have employees with any mechanical knowledge.  What happened to the good old days.  It used to be made in America actually meant something.  I do not understand why they do not take more pride In the dealerships/mechanics/service/sales and such.  When my scooter goes down I usually ask around with other bikers that live in the area-the first word that I am usually hearing is When you find a reputable place please let us know. I am currently on a roadtrip and have been down 3 times now in the past 3 weeks.  All 3 times have been serious, and in different mechanical areas.  Does anybody know of a forum where you can rate your dealership's.  I know of plenty of them where I would not even want any of my ex-wifes shopping at.

I do not know of such a forum, but if you start one trust me there are a 1000 other riders here that will post good and bad. I think we need one.

I travel quite a bit and usually never make it back to the same dearship more than a few times....Is there a data base anywhere that you can put in a zip code or Dealership name...and get some feed back on it......I have read thru the 9 pages before and found it very interesting, but not quite as good for me as I live on the road.....
