Why do I have the distinct feeling, that given the current time, I will not be awake for this?

I will.  Already got the telescope out and sited.  Won't see much.  But NASA TV will fill in the gaps.

Cool stuff.  2.2 ton rocket body crashing in to the moon just to stir up a big clound and look for a drink of water.  Baby then following it right down the hole.  Sweet.  20 times junk from earth has crashed in to the moon (usually on purpose :huepfenlol2: ).  But this one's the biggest.  They didn't launch this baby with a 110!

What a waste of the tax payers money!!!!!!!!

We have bigger concerns then knowing if there's water on the moon.

I'd LOVE to surf in Joplin :bananarock: !

Anyway....  relative masses are such that this mass hitting the moon is about the same as me farting in to a thunderstorm.
