That's the problem.  We all have this great emblem and no place on the bike to put it!  Now if they didn't have the Harley Davidson on the rear of the tour pack, it would look good there.  Mine's in my garage

If I hadn't already put emblems I already like down there I'd put one each of these guys low-centered on each saddlebag.  Otherwise use it to break up the large open field in the back of the tour pak.  Stick it top-center of the pak itself; below the lid and above the painted in logo.

Twolane, do you think the 3M self adhesive is a strong enough product to hold it in place by itself? I was concerned about the vibration during hot summer months.

MJZ, assuming it never gets corrupted by WD40 or other adhesive release agents that'd be the least of my worries.  That 3M adhesive on the back of these emblems is the same stuff that body side mouldings on some cars get held no with.  It's stout stuff.  Water, car wash soap,rain, normal road muck, none of that stuff will really bother it.  If you found a spot you like go for it pal, you should be fine.

Just make sure you get it on level, cuz it'll take an act of God to get it off again.  That sucker's not goin' anywhere once you press it on.

Right. Clean area. Measure. Clean area w/ [highlight]rubbing[/highlight] alcohol. Measure. Peel and stick on emblem. Press. Consume [highlight]other[/highlight] cans of alcohol. [smiley=drink.gif] Take pic. Post on board for all to admire. [smiley=worthless.gif]
