A place to always check besides Chicago Harley (20% off) is http://www.heatedclothingoutlet.com/index.shtml.  I have used Gerbing Heated Gear for years.

There are many makers out there.. but once you buy Gerbing stuff, you'll never consider any other!

Grand Prix motosports in CO has a sale on Gerbings Heated gear right now.  I have bought Gerbings from them in the past and they sent me an email today with this code: Gerb1013

Its good for 20% off + no sales tax outside of Colorado + free shipping on orders over $50, which is basically anything Gerbings you buy.

I ride all year (unless its snowing) and have used Gerbings heated gear for years and been very happy with it.

Cheers!

Any one use the "new" harley gear? Looks like it is made by Gerbing. Anyone know for sure? I looked at the jacket and new gloves. The electrical hook ups are Gerbing because it says so. Just wondering if its as good?

Just be aware of this disclaimer on every page:  Products sold on this store are fully operational but may contain a slight flaw, minor blemish, or the product may be slightly used, but still in close to new condition. Some products may be 100% new but are being discontinued by the manufacturer. All products sold through HeatedClothingOutlet.com are sold as is. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Maybe not a big deal, and could be a bargain, but the stuff is not new, and not perfect.

Made by Gerbing, just as good, and carries the lifetime wiring warranty of any Gerbing.  Stuff from Gerbing is cheaper though.

Sure about the warranty?  Had been told by a sales rep at a Harley shop that the Harley branded products didn't include Gerbings warranty and that Harley only warranted the products variously from 90 days to a year.

Unless something has changed, yes.  I had a pair of Harley gloves that Gerbing told me they would warranty for life....as well as a jacket liner and pants I bought last year.

Anyone tried any of the dual power source vest/gloves? I wonder if they work as good? I have some conserns when I am riding 2 up and both of us using heated gear that the bike can't handle the drain. I have HID's and a amp for the radio. Thought the battery gloves/vest would give me the option. Wifey could use the direct power and I could use the battery pack power. When I'm alone I could use the direct power. Any input??

I've looked at the technology page on Gerbing's website and I see two wires on the jacket but only one on the pants. Does the extra accessory wire connect the jacket to the pants or is it used for something else ? It describes a three prong connection harness so I'm kinda confused.

What's the difference between the 12 volt and Signature Series jacket liners ?

Are the pants thin enough to fit under your regular jeans or do you have to wear something oversized ?
