Lane Driting?? Thoughts?
« on: October 15, 2009, 10:49:00 PM »

I searched and foundhttp://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=27432.0

On my 08 SERK I have a hard time holding to one side of the road crown.... Did some testing and even with 10lb more in the right saddle bag she will drift to the left if I raise my hands a tad off the bars....

On this trip I have about 25lb in each saddle and 50 in the tourpak...

The above thread did give me allot of insite,  but anymore would help....

She is going into the dealer for a starter clutch and I want to give him a list of stuff to check...

So damm fustrating on such a expensive bike....  Blows my mind....

Here I am in MS on a trip and there is a GoldWing gathering....  The seem to have so few problems (but still are ugly!)

Windscreen adjusted/mounted correctly?
Handlebars exactly perpendicular to the front wheel?
Both fork tubes got oil?  (kinda hard to check this one)
Rear wheel alignment?

Too much change in your left pocket?  ;D
BSR always talking in your left ear?  ;D
