My Dad
« on: October 21, 2009, 01:53:51 AM »

Here's a pic of my Dad, I get my love for riding honestly. He rode Harley's back in the day but now his legs are just not strong enough to hold them up anymore. I brought him a scooter to ride around, he likes it but he said it's no Harley. Love you Dad, Ride On.  8)

80+ and Dad still wants to borrow the bike.  I take him for rides now but in my college days he would take out my Honda 750 and roll up the miles.  For that, he would let me use his car for dates.  Not a bad trade!  Grateful to still have him.

Test rode a TriGlide last weekend.  They are scary to say the least!   :nervous:  If you're used to two wheels and leaning in the turns, the TriGlide feels like it's trying to throw you off at every turn.   :nervous:  Hit the gym or what ever you have to do to stay fit so you can stay on two wheels as long as possible!

You are blessed my friend  :2vrolijk_21: Get him the three wheel and ride on. And tell him I said congrats on his 50th
Hey if he gets the tryglide, you could allways say he is going through a mid love crisis.
Sorry I couldn't resist 50th and all. I tip my helmet to you and your father.

Sweet, my dad loved his Honda in the last years he rode, the 750 was a lot easier to ride than a Harley for him after hip replacements and having a short inseam.

Keep on ridin' !!!!!

Thanks for the memories. Lost my Dad 3 years ago. He also finished his riding on my old 750. His old 77 FLH is the one in my Signature. She doesn't get many miles these days but is always ready to go.
