2010 CVOUC - Tour Pak Position
« on: October 23, 2009, 03:19:23 PM »

Does anyone know if there is a aftermarket item to allow you to move the tour pak back? It has three positions molded into the bottom of the tour pak, but it appears that it cannot be moved. Unfortunately, it is in the forward most position.

In the service manual there is a section addressing that.
The box can be moved 1" forward or back. Pull up the liner and see the 4 mounting bolts and lock washers.

Thanks, I will check again. I pulled the liner and looked at the bolts. The rack that it is attached to only has one set of holes, so that position is permanent, and the tour pak has a extra set of holes at the rear (not drilled) and none at the front of the tour pak. It appears to be unmoveable.

The chromed rack has 4 threaded holes and the box has 2 sets of 4 holes for the bolts to go through. Our dealer has them set to the rear position unless requested differently.
Our '09's SE and Ultra were that way, my '10 is the same. Unless you have something a little different.
Check the bottom of your box, there should be a recess that will allow 1" fore and aft adjustment.
Hope this helps a bit.
