I'm not too fancy on the idea of drilling  holes in my brand new Ultra fairing but I see it as quite practical and safe as regards location. It would seem eyes would be more forward and road aware. Anyone have photos of the 660 and fairing mount?

Many of the members here use the Techmount. It is chrome and you can get the right size for your bike's bars and in different stalk lengths and mounting plates. Most prefere the handlebar mount so you don't make a large hole in your fairing and may have to get a new inner faring when you change  the GPS to a different model or to another bike.

Another really nice chrome control mount is the eCaddy Deluxe from Leader Motorcycle.  Got mine with the Ultra Tilt for $99 and love it!

I ordered a Techmount 81002, surface mount mount.  I plan to attach this to the upper left gauge spot/hole with a fabricated piece of metal to fasten it in the hole.

That is a sweet mount. It even looks ok with the GPS removed and just the chrome mount on the controls. I just ordered one
