Talked to zippers and the fbw thunder max suposed to be ready soon as they get a good map base for customers.They said it will be using 09-earlier size ox sensors and location. I am having d-d put both sets (09-10) of bungs in my new fatcats so I will be able to use either ecm on my 2010. Hope release is soon.  Thanks jdo

So basically Zippers is locking themselves just to 08 and 09 model years with the new Thundermax TBW by only programing for the old O2 sensors...that sounds like a staunch business decision on their part.  Guess that saves them from improving on their already p-poor customer service.

They've been saying the product is coming out for the 08's for well over a year now.  Dates come and go...I'll believe it when I see it.  Meanwhile, other products, like the TTS Mastertune, are proving to be more reliable and a much better value.

The new thunder max will work on 2010's just have to add ox bungs or buy exhaust with 09 stile.My tunner has said moco has took some of the adjustments out of the 2010 pro tunner and making it harder to get a proper tune. He is hopping thunder max will have some of the adjustments that moco has taken away.   ride safe jdo

Talked with the Tm rep today at the Lonestar Rally in Galveston,Tx. he said they are around 60 days away from launching the TBW auto tune TM module. At the moment they are building maps.

Making promises as to service and support efforts has always been an exceptionally high skill set for Zippers.  Good to see they've enhanced that skill set to include promises of product delivery also.

Interesting comments from your tuner.  The tuner at my dealership, who is very proficient with SERTs and SEPTs, said the only difference in 2010 software is the addition of the auto tune program and baseline maps for the 2010 model year to work with the new heated o2 sensors.  He said if anything there's more functionality to the new software....  He was able to get my SESG in at 88 hp/104 TQ and pretty much a flat AFR at 13.9 using the SEPT with the 2010 software and all I did was added new mufflers (Vance and Hines Basic 4" with the 2.25" baffles).
