Slip on muflers by Super Trapp
« on: October 30, 2009, 12:28:22 AM »

I have a riding buddy that just put on a set of Super Trapp slip on mufflers on a 08 UC. They are the newer style mufflers that don't have those fins sticking out the end.  I have to tell ya that these sound really good. Nice low throaty sound at idle.  Not loud.  They seem to get a louder the more you get on it.  I am currently running Rush slip ons and am not happy with the chrome on the right side.  It is turning gold!  Anyways I am considering switching exhaust. I have already purchased V&H power curve head pipes and I am now considering new mufflers.

Any ideas would be great....  I think I am looking for something not too loud...but deep throaty sound.

I had a set of the Super Trapp SEs (what used to be Screamin' Eagles while those were still more than stock mufflers with a couple decibels more noise).  They sounded pretty good and I had them on for a year or so before going to Monster Ovals.  I'd probably sell them if anyone is interested.

If you think it's the journey not the destination you don't live in Nebraska.
