If you save the factory calibration prior to programming a TTS calibration into the bike when you do a restore the bike will be just as it was prior to you programming it.

thanks for the responses.  i am dropping off for a oil leak and i am up in the air about rolling it back to factory tune.  i figure i will ride and see how much popping i get on it and if not much they will see the oem tune map and not the ideal better tuned map.

Your initial question was answered by Steve Cole, the man that wrote the software for the SERT.  His answer was that, with the TTS software,  you can reload your factory ECM values and go through a dealer warranty issue without their Digital Tech. indicating that you had changed the initial programming of the ECM.  You now seem to say that you want to base your exposure at your dealer based on the amount of "popping" you get.  What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Do you want to fool your warranty dealer, or actually have your leaking cylinder repaired under a factory warranty?  We all want a better running bike, but we all also roll the dice by adding tuners, pipes, tuners, and whatever we believe will make our Harley run a little better than the next one!!  As Harley riders that just want a better ride, we do modifications that void every warranty that we acquired with the "warranty" of the new bike.

Yellowted, no disrespect, but you can't have it all with a "factory warranty", and a good running scooter at the same time.

Just my opinion.....

i am a bit confused at your response but i do thank you for your interest in my post.  i have never had to deal with the dealer for a warranty issue and i just don't want them to question things that have been changed on the bike, that's it.  thanks again.  round 1 with the leak.

Me too yellowted.  I think I understood your comment clearly.  If, when you re-load you stock map the motor does not pop too much and run bad then you will leave the stock map in there when you take it to the dealer.  If on the other hand it runs so poorly that it would be noticeable then you may have no choice but to leave the improved map you normally run loaded into the ecm.  Makes perfect sense to me.  Hope it works for you, but unless your dealer is a real prick I really doubt that he'd check, notice or care that you were not running the stock map.
