Didn't get off the dealers lot before a fubup.  I rode the bike a week earlier for 30 miles with the stock windshield and hated it.  Told the dealer we would swap my Clearview w/curve when I picked up the bike.  Took the 3 screws out and the chrome molding was stuck on the one end.  I gently lifted up on it and the paint came with it too.  The chrome molding has 3 rubber bumpers underneath (you can see the shadow outline of it) and it was stuck to the paint.  They took pictures and waiting to hear from the MOCO..

On a side note, I did not like the rear reflector.  I removed the bolts from the turnsignal bar and then removed the reflector and bracket from the signal bar.  Reinstalled the turnsignal bar, stood back and admired my work, and the factory scratched the fender underneath the reflector.   Put the reflector back on and figured once the bike was dragon worthy it would earn a dragon decal ala SBB.  Not going to ask for a fender.  I am anal, the lower fender was covered during r&r.

New just means new.

Yes Chip, but it would have to be about 1/2" down from the chrome turnsignal bar.

Now AJ, "think", it's me, I have already tried that.
The hinges on the trailer are wider than the Harley or our billet hinges.
Come on buddy, get ahead of me so I can have a challenge.
Send mine and Nancy's best to your wonderful Linda.

I was going to ask the same question, but then I had to think.....Chip? Nah he would have tried.

He'll figure it out...... winter is just around the corner. He may get a month.....maybe, of no riding.

Oh chit!

Looks like that will not be the only place the paint will peel. Wonder if it was ever sanded.

Dealer said up to 10 weeks on a new outer fairing.  At least it's ordered.

That's a relief.  Sucks that you even had to worry about whether or not it'd be taken care of.  Should've known there'd be bad juju from putting down the red SEEG.  That's messing with some powerful forces of nature right there.
