because the SEUC gets it's time sync via the GPS module, all you have to do it turn the bike on, turn the radio off and turn the DST option off.  Reverse the process next spring to turn DST on again.  You're time zone is set into the radio by the dealer during pre-delivery setup.

I had the same problem trying to re-set the time Sunday morning.  Previously when I turned radio off and pressed 'set' I had option to change hour and minutes.  Then I recalled that last month I decided to load my gps cd/dvd (after almost three years ownership) just to have a backup for my Garmin.  So I concluded that the gps now had control - kinda like the old 'Outer Limits' tv show from the 60s if you're old enough to recall that.  Like you said RedDevil, I just selected DST to off and was good to go.

Now I wonder if there is a way to uninstall my H-K gps if I ever want to and return the radio to its previous state.  Just asking.  :nixweiss:

You'd have to go inside the fairing and unplug the GPS module, turn the head unit on to reset it to non-GPS mode.  Shut it off and, if you want, re-plug the GPS module back into the HK head unit and don't load the GPS disk back in.  That should do it.  My question is though, why would you want to do this?  :nixweiss: Your clock is actually going to be very acurate now and it's easier to do DST and back to standard time.  You don't have to use the GPS again to keep using this function...unless you don't like the GPS startup screen every time you turn the bike on?   :nixweiss:

The reason was that the the DST screen came up, and I selected DST (ON) and it would not accept. So I after reading other posts; I'm thinking that maybe I was to to far in the garage that it could receive a GPS signal to update it's self. once I got moved it closer to the door, it updated and work fine.
