Autumn Haze in Virginia!
« on: December 22, 2005, 11:08:28 PM »

I just signed the papers today and inspected my new Autumn Haze 2006 Flhtcuse! 8-)

NO Paint Problems spotted yet in the bright lights and sunshine.
I have been lurking on this site since August but didn't log in because I was not guarenteed a bike by my local dealer. I was on an On Call list with no promises and the dealer would not take a deposit. I will say they were straight forward and called as soon as this bike arrived at the dealer.
I have read almost every post since then about paint issues as well as other stuff. I am very impressed with all the knowledge to be found at this site.
The bike has 6 miles on it when i saw it but I am having some chrome and other items installed .(nothing to change exhaust or engine yet) :)
I will probably take delivery next week or so. I traded in my 1997 Fatboy which I bought new so this 103 will feel nice compaired to my 80 EVO.

Congratulations on your new bike, it's always nice to have a new member to the sight. Even though you've been visiting since Aug. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Congrats on the new ride.  You could've logged in anyway though.  But wait, you were thinking it might jinx getting the bike?  I get it now....

Being on the on-call list, that had to suck riding the bubble for that long.  Probably made getting the availability news that much sweeter though.  Again, congrulations on the new bike and welcome aboard.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

VaEagle,
Congrats on the new ride, and welcome to the site. Like you I moved up from a Fatboy ('96) and have enjoyed the move. Nothing like more power, and lets not forget the comforts of windshield, fairing, lowers, and music. You just can't beat the total package!! May you have many safe and enjoyable miles on your new ride. I'm also from Va. so maybe our paths will cross sometime.

I will try to post photos when I can. I don't have a digital camera and I have limited computer skills.
Hope to meet you folks sometime on a ride. 8-)

You've got riding neighbors right here on this site.  Someone will no doubt let you know they're close enough to go riding.  Then you need to find the Maggie Valley thread and book your vacation time for October.  Anyone with a new CVO bike in the East is required to be there  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

You better get the digital camera and whatever else you need quick, 'cause after a few sleepless nights on this site, you won't have a pot to pee in........this crowd will flat spend your money for you.....just by their influence and the sneaky way they post new stuff they've found to do to these scooters.

Congrats VaEagle on the new bike. I am an 06 Haze newbie as well.

I just moved from the Tidewater Va area (Northern Suffolk) back in June.
