HD windshield trim mounting

Are there any problems to mount the hd windshield trim with a clearview shield ?
Does it fit perfect ?
( who was selling that black powdercoated trim , once here at the board , he has had one to sell . anyone knows ? , can`t find him anymore )

Klaus, I have the HD chrome trim on my clearview, and no it's easy but you can do it. best to do with the fairing off, assemble the whole thing, just start the well nuts and then make it go into the fairing and then tighten. you need to hold the trim piece in place as you tighten.
I have not seen a black one yet

Clearview sells the hardware kit that helps the trim piece fit "better" with the clearview shield.  If you use the hardware that comes in the trim piece kit then most folk get a pretty nasty gap on the edges.

You cannot order a blacked trim by HD , Don did the powdercoat .

No response from Don since last week , i wonder , he wanted to give me a info and feedback on monday , but nothing ......
( I guess he sold the black trim to the other guy which asked about a blacked one  :-X )
