Haven't they reduced the price on these since this thread started?  :nixweiss: spyder

To make them running and brake you will need to have the Plasma Rod Dual Converter wires as seen at teh bottom of this page;
http://www.customdynamics.com/plasma_rod_led_lights.htm
Then just attach them to the brake light wiring inside the trunk so you can hide the wire connections

I have the HD run, turn, brake controller currently on the bike. Did you tap into the black and red on the right and the black and red/yellow on the on the left?

What is thr blue for?

You need that module to split the wires on the rod to make it a 3 wire set-up. It has a diode in line I think. The rods come as a 2 wire product

Can the plasma rods be wired for just 'Brake" & 'Turn'?

Thanks

Sure..you can do just brake turn...just depends on how you wire it up. I am shaving my entire fender...so mine are setup for Run/Brake/Turn...I am suprised how bright they are. I went with the 8" ones.

I can't decide which would look better on a Street Glide, 'Brake/Turn' or 'Run/Brake/Turn'.

Thoughts?

It just depends on what other lights you have i think. I shaved my fender so i had to do Run/brake/turn...and these lights are very bright...you can never have too much lights to get peoples attention..

Added Custom Dynamics plasma rods to the filler strips.  Much better visibility from the rear now.  These are run/brake/turn and are brighter than stock LEDs.

Barely noticeable when off.

Thanks.  Needed more viz from the rear when raining or at night.  Clean install, not as easy to see them when turned off as the stock LED bars on the tour pack.
