TourPak Bag
« on: December 29, 2005, 10:50:05 AM »

Am I the only one who got a Tour-Pak bag that does not fit the new Tour-Pak? The one I got fits my standard Ultra, with the traditional Tour-Pak...not the new, tiny, leather covered tumor they dropped on the ass of the SE.

Yep it a shade on the large size. As long as folks like you and I keep buying them they'll keep selling them.    [smiley=jalapeno.gif] [smiley=banana.gif]

FR8TRN - I am waiting for my Haze in March but I was intrigued by your Dekker Supreme Bag picture.  With myy last two Ultra's, I experienced overweight issues with the Tour Pac w/out the extra bag.  The supports under the Tour Pac broke in half.  New adjustments did try and strengthen them but I wonder what your experience is, given the size of this bag?  Maybe the design of this model actually got better.

Parenthetically, I would of thought the bag in this NEW Tour Pac would of been made (not for me) for this bike.  <grin>.

Got an Ultra Rack Half Sac on order form Sac Bags (www.coolsac.com).  They make all the bags for the moco.  Devon there tells me they repositioned the attachment straps to fit the contoured tour-pak lid rack which is on our bike.  We'll see.  If it fits OK I'll post some pics.

Hmm...I think I may have been un-clear or the thread just got of track...does that happen here? LOL
Anyway, I am talking about the bag for the INSIDE of the TourPak...sometimes called a liners, but it's not...it a form fitted bag like the ones for the saddle bags....thought the one I got with the SE is the one the fits a STANDARD TourPak, not the new leather on.

I do like the bag above though! ;)

Are they still delivering these tour-pak carry out bags? Mine didn't have one. Got a call into the sales guy to locate it.
