Need help.

I bought the above Boom headset (Page 624 in catalog) for my 2009 FLHTCUSE4 to replace my damaged unit. It installed OK and it works fine when the radio is on. In the parts box there was also a disk, part #76160-06, labeled "Advanced Audio Radio, Intercom VOX Update CD. Required for MY 2006-2009".

There was no reference in the installation directions to the CD so I don't what it is for. I put it into my PC and it would not run as a DVD or CD so I thought that it maybe a data disk. I put it into the bike's CD opening and it would not run there either. My dealer parts guy, whom I bought the kit from, had no clue, either.

Anyone know what this disk is for?

It say that it is the radio software update.

By the way; I am thinking of replacing my 2009 ones also. Are these new ones any better? I can only turn up the volume so much before it starts schratching in the speakers...
