Used the same 07 SERK ignition ring as on Don's SERK

FWIW:  You have a lot more feel with the Brembos that the OEM's. Much easier to keep good pressure without the fear of locking em up. IMO: a mod well worth doing. Especially when you can score many of the parts on Ebay cheap if you take your time.

Thanks again Don!

That was a fun day Jeff.  We weren't speed demons but we got it done.

Glad you like the brakes.  I always thought it was a better feel too.  That's a good looking bike :2vrolijk_21: .

He installed the Brembo slick as you can! He also installed a new fork lock so the Ruby and Lexi (SERK4) are keyed alike.

Your bike is looking great.
WOW, keyed alike.
Your killing me.
What kind of cost on doing that?
With 4 bikes, one set of keys would be very cool.

Had all three of mine that way Chip.  The convenience really is worth it.  Had to swap a set of saved original locks back on to the red bike when it sold so wouldn't be passing my other bike's keys on.  But that's an easy chore.  Don't remember the cost for the whole bike set keyed to match.  But it wasn't enough to negate the convenience of just one key for everything.

She's damn fine but pale in comparison to your masterpiece!  She's moving into 1st place amongst my scoots. She's just over 50,000 miles now. Only 19,000 on the reman motor tho.

It's not cheap but I feel it was worth it. I was on a 10 day trip with both SERKs. Me on one and my buddy on the other. I managed to get the wrong key stuck in a saddlebag lock. Real PIA. This will eleminate that problem. Plus I can get into any saddlebag to move rain suit and the like much easier.

I believe the saddlebag locks are around $45 and the ignition switch is in the $80 range. Forgot what the fork lock runs. Of course HD has to send you two keys with each of the items so you have keys up the wayzuh. LOL.

There's no such thing as a red 02 SERK that isn't just amazing.  Picking between them is like picking between different Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.  And it's a sure thing they're all fun to ride!   (uh, talking about the bikes there......    Perverts)
