Well...... not that I've researched such things at all..... but......   The guy at C&C doesn't sew windshield bags.  But he knows someone that does.  So you could get the matching material and the information from C&C and make it happen.  At least that's the rumor...  ::)

Well Dood's job is complete. I had John Sachs work on a set of heads for my Candy machine. While the torque numbers are the same, the torque curve is much improved. The power stays out to 5000 rpm where before you could feel her dropping off a little over 4000 rpm. Got some more ponies too.

Not a bad deal for just swapping heads w/ .030 hg.

I'm happy with the way she response. Spools up much faster. I'll change cams if the tensioners need replaced at some point in the future.

The ol girl needed some love.

dood, you may be right. The owner has a problem. After the good job Jim (Strokerjlk) did on Lexi's latest (and last?) rebuild and tune, I took the Candy beauty down for him to work his magic. Jim sent me a dyno sheet on what he was able to get out of her. Right @ 100 tq / just shy 90 hp. That's plus 7 tq / 9 hp. This should fullfill my needs on a "stock" 95 in, SE 203 cam motor. Hope to pick her up this weekend.

JW

Well other than the heads being massaged a little by John Sachs. That doesn't count does it?

Yo Bro it's all good. Once you accept who/what you are you can accept the end result. ;) :D

BTW - That's a good baseline dyno that will be built on with future mods. :2vrolijk_21:

Nope that doesn't count..... that's a freebie.... because we both know you will not stop there. However.... don't worry that's our little secret. :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

Been awhile since I've posted on the SERK (Ruby) and her recent mods.

Over a period of time I've been talking with Don in reference putting the Brembos on her. I bought the clutch and brake housings from Don back in 2010. Also picked up a set of Brembos on ebay to use as cores. Also scored some 11.8" rotors and a pair of 08 - later hand levers.

Don offered to work with me on the installation (meaning he would do it) I sent the related parts to him for inspection. Don forward the Brembos to Chrome Masters

I stayed with all chrome as my SERK is in no way a "decked out" as the beauty Don has created at Twolane Cycle.

Was down Don's way late May to visit my daughter at Ft. L. Wood. So I set it up with Twolane and dropped in.

He installed the Brembo slick as you can! He also installed a new fork lock so the Ruby and Lexi (SERK4) are keyed alike.
