new to site - introducing myself

Just wanted to introduce myself as I am new to this site.  Have had several bikes in the past, but this will be first Harley.
Looking at 2008 CVO Screamin Eagle, but also considering buying new.  Just like the price of the pre-owned better...
Hoping to learn as much as possible from this site.  Thank you! Mark

Thanks for the welcome.  Looking at a 2008 Screamin Eagle with a 110.  I've read about some of the recall issues, and would like to know if this year had some issues I should avoid.  There seem to be several of them on the market right now, I'm wondering if that is the reason?

Welcome aboard from Minnesota! Glad you've joined the fun. New is nice but I'm through taking the first hit on new toys. Plus, owners of CVO's generally take really good care of their bikes and unfortunately for some of them, they don't even ride them much so there are some real gems in the used market. You can save thousands and usually pick up some nice mods for free. JMHO
