1985 FXRS solid wheel conversion
« on: December 01, 2009, 01:11:35 PM »

I am wondering if there is any modification involved in installing a 16" solid rear wheel in place of the 16" stock spoke wheel on a 1985 FXRS-SP?

I used a solid FB rear wheel to replace the stock spoke wheel on my '85 FXWG. It's now on my rigid bobber. So I don't see why it won't work on your FXR. Just make sure you center and space everything properly. ;)
