fork oil quanities

Does anyone know how much fork oil is required in the different touring front forks.

If the forks are lowered does that make a difference on the oil amounts?

One in particular..06 FLHX standard height

Remove spring.....About 11 oz of fluid, then pump tube to bleed damper valve. Collapse tube then measure fluid level so that it is 142mm from the top with a fork oil level guage
