replaced the derby cover.  a little too much gawdiness with the huge 110 it came with for me.

I think you're the first one to not like the looks of the derby cover.  Interesting that you'd think the derby cover was gawdy, and remove it for that reason, and then add the lighted windshield trim.   :nixweiss:  Just sayin'.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  The bike is coming together nicely though, lowers look good.   :2vrolijk_21:

It looks like a new bar is required to mount the lowers is that correct?  :2vrolijk_21:

Yep, sure is...the lowers won't mount on the moustache bars.  You have to put on the standard electra glide-style bars.

I am ridiculous aren't I?  I actually wanted to install the lighted windshield trim mainly as an added safety measure to increae my visibility in peoples mirrors or blindspots.  But I must say once I installed it, it does go quite well with the color of my bike.

Not rediculous at all.  ;)  Each to his own...it's all part of the ownership and making it yours.  You can never have enough visibility, that's for sure.

Bike looks fine, Dabb.  Might be time to edit the title of this thread.   :nixweiss:

windshield pouches installed
a chrome inner fairing trim kit would sure set things off here. IMO  :2vrolijk_21:

I think I will need to see this with the SESG gauges.  Looks nice though.  Thanks for the opinion.
