Anyone had this or seen it done yet? got mine a while ago but in chicago we are snowed in for a few more months so i m not too worried about it now

Not to hijach or what, but an Arlington, TX motor cop clipped a school bus this morn and burst into flames and killed him...was this what thy're talin about?????

The bike definately was on fire and I'm guessing since the exhaust flows under the frame to get to the left muffler it is probably a 2009 bike?

Very bad for this to happen. The way the tank is damaged, that seems to be exactly what the recall should help to avoid.

terrible story, but I'm afraid the officer would have been killed anyway.

It's most evidently a 09 FLHTP and as Louis stated, exactly this should be avoided by the recall.

And the incident shows quite clearly the danger to the kids in the schoolbus and bystanders ...

The parts for my bike came early this week. The dealer will pick up the bike next week (with a van) and have it done.

just got the call, recall-parts are built in, cat is gone, everything reassembled - but no way to tune and testdrive ::)
