Proud new owner of a 2010 SESG in Spiced Rum which I took delivery of on Nov 4th. Became a member of this forum on Nov. 11th. Love all of the info on all aspects of CVO's. I have been read a thousand posts in the last three weeks. I have removed the CAT from my head pipe, Installed a TTS tuner, Clearveiw recurve and Bitubo's on the rear. Significant performance improvement with the Fulsac's Stage 1 kit. Have not had the chance to test ride the Bitubo's or the recurve due to recent foul weather. One other mod was to lower the rear 2" due to being vertically challenged at only 5'6".
I did have clearance issues with the standard hydraulic shocks hitting the belt sprocket with the lowering bracket. The clearance issues appear to be resolved, at least visually. Will know for certain after a test ride. No seat gap. No wobbles. No clutch problems. No loose bolts found so far. On the recall list for fuel tank fix. Will eventually see Traxxion for the AK-20's. Still searching for a CAM. Looking for idle to 4500 strong torque cam. Will also have head work performed. Really surprised at how much better my SG handles compared to by ex FLSTCI. Love the fairing with radio. All in All very pleased with the new purchase. Looking forward to the continued input from all the forum members on the upgrades and experiences. Any advice suggestions or comments will be appreciated.
