Just installed HID bulbs in my 07SERK .It was the easiest install i have done on my bike up to date.I purchased the kit for $149 form
http://www.motorcyclehidlights.com/harley-davidson-screamin-eagle-c-71_142/digital-hid-kit-slim-ballasts-p-209 When you order tell them you need a H8 and H11 bulbs. Simply remove the head light unclip the original wiring harness, Cut the original connector off, Then connect the new bulbs using Butt connectors the connectors witch are covered with heat shrink are the best.The high beam is the lower bulb.
The only drawback with the HID is the bulbs take a few seconds to heat up so for a few seconds there is not much light ,But after that the lights are incredible it literally turns night to day.So why pay $500 for the Harley Kit
