2008 SEUC (How are they holding up)?
« on: December 11, 2009, 10:39:52 AM »

Just thought I would throw a response out there to see how many people are still riding there 08 SEUC's  and if they are happy with that year SEUC. I have 41,000 miles on Kasper and it's running like a champ!! It has taken quite a few trips to the dealer to get the bugs worked out of it but today this is a very reliable scoot!! I love everything about this bike and would love to hear others with positive responses.

I've got over 15k on my copper top and it runs great.  The only problem was with the radio, and that was just a wire rubbing against the frame.  It has a race tuner, Bub 7 true duals and a K and N air cleaner.  I am very happy with it.

I still have mine. 15K on the clock now. Just about ready for a new rear tire. All in all, I'm happy with mine.
She still looks great. I get ALOT of positive feedback from people who stop and look at, when I got her parked
somewhere. LOTS of quirks though, however, slowly but surely getting around to them all. I added the two
saddlebag LED lights like the new ones have. Now I got all 3 LED's for the cargo areas. Plus, I've added the
new premium TP hinges.  JohnT.

Of course lately the weather here hasn't been great for riding,
so I have switch over to the bike with a sidecar.

Ho, ho, ho - Merry Christmas to all!

Hello Guys,

My 15,000 miles has been a pleasure.  Only problem was fuel filter at 7,000.  Third wheel is great on long trips two up.  Still have my 2000 Springer for a two wheel fix when needed.

I’m with JohnT, lots of “quirks” initially but I’m really happy overall.  I just turned 20k miles.  Took a 3500 mile trip this summer, bike ran strong and everything worked!  I bought this one for the long haul, warranty runs until April 2010 then extended kicks in so hope to have many more miles on this baby!

Nice to see some of the ones with very little problems being ridden lots of miles like they were all meant to be. Enjoy

I love mine, she gave me some headaches a the start with the whole engine replacement, bu I have 24K, 15K on new motor and everything is good.  A couple of little things, like the heated grips don't seem to last more than a year before they go bad.  But I love the ride and she has never let me down.  :2vrolijk_21:

Almost 25k and I bought it in July 08.  Small things, left tour pak light cover came loose, seat tore at the seam by my right thigh, the engine recall work, one set of heated grips.  Lovin it and get losts of compliments and even a few bike show awards.

I follow the manual religiously... Costs a lot, but I'm happy!  ::)

I had it removed prior to delivery... Never really cared for the look, and with the wife riding her own Ultra there is little need for extra luggage on my ride!

Better gas mileage now.  :2vrolijk_21:
