Bagger Brace, Glide Pro, Added Vibration
« on: December 16, 2009, 09:57:40 AM »

I would like to install a stabilizing system on my 08 SERK and am considering the Bagger Brace over the Glide Pro which I had on my 04 Road King.  It worked great but the vibrations were enhanced severely!  Will the BB cause increased vibration?

On my 08 SEUC the bagger brace has been a great addition with no vibrations. Much more stable!!

Same result here...I installed the Bagger Brace a year ago with no resulting vibrations...   :2vrolijk_21:

It shouldn't add vibration.

I installed the Bagger Brace a year ago also.  I DO feel more vibration in my left floorboard.  I believe this is the result of me feeling the torque of the bike more because of the way the brace attaches to the frame - I only feel it in the lower gears.  It definitely feels more solid/stable now.  I really notice the difference when passing or being passed by a semi (the semi is in the other lane) the air used to cause my fairing and bike to really move now I hardly notice it.

I am used to it now so the tradeoff for a little vibration is worth it to me for what the Bagger Brace does.
