d00d,  Were gonna get hit too. They have been on the radio and T.V. for two days now scaring everyone and telling them to be prepared for 6-12 inches.  Not sure why all the fuss cause this is normal for us.  Actually they said we are below half of our normal snow fall for this time of the year. HMMMMMMMM

A wimpy 6-12 for us in the Blue Ridge Mtns today,  HUH!!   thats just enough to make us mad this year.

My daughter was home this weekend from JMU and went back across the mountain (Rt. 33) this morning for class. She said it's already starting to stick and the roads on campus are bad. :nervous:

Got about 10" Friday and Saturday on the day we were going to the Vtwin Expo.  Made it on Sunday and now it's supposed to snow another 4-8" today and the winds pick up.  Probably snowed in again tomorrow.  Someone needs to take a ride with a video camera so we can at least see what it would be like to be riding.

It snowed for a day and a half, light but steady. The ground was warm so it didn't stick to the driveway and sidewalks, probably about 2" left on the grass, so not to bad, pretty cold today!

Most of the roads in H'burg are like a mule trail,  very rough!    It got so cold Sat and Sun night that it would take a D-9 Cat to cut the ice off the pavement.   Looks like she'll get another vacation day tomorrow.   
I'm pretty sure it'll be the end of March before I see grass again,   if I'm lucky!

Shared several text messages with her this evening and she's ready to come back home. She'd rather be snowed in here then there... and is planning on coming back home this weekend. I hope the roads will be clear by then otherwise "Dad" will probably be bringing the Yukon (4 wheel drive) over there to pick her up. :nixweiss:

The nor’easter about to slam Delaware with a one-two punch may dump as much as 19 inches of snow in northern Delaware and as little as 6 inches along the southern border by the time it ends Wednesday night, the National Weather Service says.

I got a call from my son....he sent a shot of his "new car" after the last snow storm.
He's in DC.
There's another storm hitting them now, he wishes he were here!!

I told him it's raining here tonight, just to make him feel better...............it didn't work! LOL
