Don

Not sure if this helps but I have a 140 on the 01 and 03.
Had to trim the belt guard on the 03.

01 is the other swingarm so with that as another difference we can't say it informs absolutely.  03 will be exactly the same though.  I can trim a little plastic.  Chrome belt guard cover ok?

On my Road king I ran the 140 and removed the plastic belt guard and just ran the Chrome one.

Thanks Jim.  That's enough confirmation to make another part choice.  Either with a little trimming or solely with the chrome cover it'll roll.  Good enough.  Thanks guys.

Had another thought....Do you know what brand 140 you are going to use? 16" rim? Beware that some of them are wider than others. I just did a set of the Night Dragons on a bike and their 140 is bigger than most others.

Speaking of the Night Dragons Jim, Do you have any clue whether these bias ply ND's (140/70-18 F & 180/60-17 R; both 1 size over on the width) will fit my '07 SERK? Thanks Jim and Happy Holidays! Looking forward to seeing you again in Feb! :2vrolijk_21:

Standard SERK3/4 sizes:
F: 130/70 R-18 M/C 63H TL
R: 170/60 R-17 M/C 78V REINFTL

Pirelli Night Dragon available sizes (1 size over F&R to the SERK size)
F: 140/70 B-18 REINFTL 73H
R: 180/60 B-17 REINFTL 81H

Great weight ratings on these ND tires too! ;)

Going to try the Michelin Commanders (I think).  Not like it's a near term need though.  Just getting more ducks in a row.

I have not tried them Howie but I can tell you that the ND tires are all wider than other brands with the same size rating.

Thanks Jim. That's not promising news as they don't make the correct width for the SERK as it is. I can't find any dimensional data on these tires on their website to compare them to the Dunlops or even the ME880's I have on Cybil now. Can you get the dimensional info on these 2 ND tires? Thanks. :2vrolijk_21:

Don,
Just put the stock wheels back on with a 140 Metz on the Brandy Candy. Worked like a charm...Greg
