Handlebar Bushings/washers
« on: December 23, 2009, 12:21:23 PM »

I'm changing my handlebars to some Chubby's on my 07 SE Ultra. I saw a recent thread somewhere that said to replace some factory rubber bushings or washers in the clamps with polyurethane, he said his had already started to disenagrate and was alomst brand new.

What are thes and where do you get them?

I did get the solid one peice clamp all ready.

If you have any rise over stock bars, you'll want to replace the rubber bushings with poly. Arlen Ness makes them for half price of HD and they work as good. Otherwise your handlebars will move back and forth and not feel solid.
