SE Passenger Foot Boards
« on: December 23, 2009, 04:25:03 PM »

Looking for some suggestions. I have a 2010 SE ULTRA and the wife says the passenger foot boards are too small and uncomfortable.  Is there a set of larger boards for the passenger that are the same style but bigger?  I dont want a mismatch to mine on the front.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you. :)

A number of folks have been through the same thing.  There are no larger rear FB's that match the front.  The only larger FB is the stock HD sytle off an Ultra.  There is an insert for them that has nice chrome trim around it & a chrome cover for the backside.  That's as good as it gets.

Maybe Marty (110 MOFO) can post a pick for you, he has them on his 2010 for the same reason

I put the Kury ISO boards off the 08 Ultra front and rear with the fold up pegs on the rear, she LOVES them and they look aolt like the CVO boards but with alot more room.

I think Kury also has the adjustable peg for SE now.  http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.ProductDetail/catID/10/scID/20/IMID/1596

They look good, my wife has the same complaint boards to small.  May look into the Kuryakyn, problem is sometimes Kuryakyn plating does not last, must be something skipped in the process in Korea.

Nice work, Possum, but the left side looks like it'd interfere with RTDs :(

My biggest issue with them was bubbling under the chrome on floorboards.  Had 2 buddies had the same issue.Seemed to appear more on the rear boards and much sooner than the front.  We all kept bikes garaged, no salt exposure other than when in Florida and cleaned bikes after each ride.  Waxed chrome religiously.  We may have just gotton a bag batch.  I know I have never had an issue with the chrome on their plastic parts just the aluminum boards.  Does not stop me from buying their products again at this time.

Rinehart True Duals
OK!  I had V&H true duals on the 08 Ultra and no interference there, don't know about the RTD's.
