I NEVER KNEW THAT!!!!!!!!!
« on: December 25, 2009, 07:04:07 AM »

Did anyone else know that the "H-D" name for the 2002 FLHRSE was the "MAD DOG", I know I'm full of "chit" most of the time but I came across this in some old H-D papers I aquired, now I know this paper was from 2002, but it got me thinking "what if" they had names like that for all our CVO's, you know model by model, how could we ever find out? :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock:

What kind of HD-paper was it? Maybe you can search by
googel, if there are any special terms in this paper and so find
others as well. Especially look in the cached proposal of google.

I did not know that. The only mad dog I knew was the one many a teen broke into.

The '00 SERG O/B was called "Road Dog"...

Yeah, how cool is that?!  It was really neat to see him again.  We don't really live all that far apart, but the only time I see him is in Maggie Valley. :nixweiss:

Speaking of "Road Dog," check this chit out.  This tag was taped to the inside of each side cover on the SERG.  Were these things originally supposed to be called Road Dog's or something? :nixweiss:

Didn't we have a nickname thread at one time, both official and unofficial? I know the '01 &'02 CVO Wideglides were known as Switchblades by the MoCo. Think there were other official nicknames as well.

Other than the rationalization of an idiot it's hard to believe anyone would think that a stock SEUC loaded with a rider and passenger could outrun a SERK with thousands of dollars in motor mods ridden by a solo rider. A 1300 lb. load against a 900 lb. load is a joke no matter what color the bikes are. But in some people's fantasy that floats their boat. An interesting fantasy yes, but just not reality no matter the color of the bike.

HeHe!!! Calling yourself an idiot! Now that's some funny chit right there! BS post with nothing but excuses! As Carl always says, he who gets there first wins! Everything else is just excuses! Enough of a reference I guess to get you feeling like this has anything to do with you. Ah, but of course, everything has something to do with you! :P ;D ;D ;D ;D

For the record, the motor is beefed up but basically stock. A lil headwork, a lil compression, and a cam swap. Still 110". And like youze are always sayin, Cybil's built like a garbage barge now anyway! Weight advantage? Nah!!! Just a boat anchor is your only problem!!! And I think you're only overload is on your seat!!! ::) :D :D :D ;)

And the most amazing part is that now we are suppose to believe that the 07 SERK is basically stock.

Be it a dream or a fantasy  :nixweiss:  it sure is funny and entertaining.

Never a dull moment there.
