I called Mr.Anderson and ordered his bracket.
He was full of information and it arrive in a couple of days. I had the local Harley shop install it before I took delivery of my FLHTCUSE. It is GREAT! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
I have plenty of room now for a passenger and I don't have to worry about thr rear speakers when throwing a leg over the bike. ;D
I had them use the rearmost setting 2.5" back for maximum room.

I envy you your HD shop.  Mine REFUSES to install A N Y T H I N G that is not bought there; no matter the case.  Oh well. DREBBIN

W O W !!!  What a diffrence !  Momma is MUCH happier back there - AND - my SAC bag now fits perfectly and is very easy to put on and off.  BUT - we gotta use 1 inch bolts to secure from the inside instead of the longer ones he sends along -- guess they are for the fiberglass guys.  Great find.  Many thnx, DREBBIN

Just got mine on...WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! The wife loves the extra room. Very high quality and very fast shipping from George. When you order just tell him you have the leather tour pak and he will throw in a set of the shorter screws. A must have item.  ;)

I had my dealer drill some extra holes to move it back further than the holes allow. Did help but I still woldn't mind another inch.

How much further than stock does the "george" bracket allow? Also, how does it compare to the Kuryakyn unit ( in adjustablility and price ) ? A guy I know recently installed the kuryaky on his 06 and he was pretty happy with it.

The furthest setting is 2 1/2 inches. I think the kuryakyn is about $170 not sure thou. George charges $95 which includes shipping. It is a high quality product [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] and great customer service!! :) I am more than thrilled with mine. George is great to work with. If you have the leather tour pak just tell him when you order and he will send shorter screws.

so is that 2 1/2 inches on top of the furthest stock setting or total? Isn't the stock max setting about 2 inches already?

that is 2 1/2 inches from the stock setting of the tour pak. i can guarantee the max stock setting is not 2 inches, i did not measure it but looked like approx an inch from the stock setting. maybe someone else has measured it exactly.

It can go back 2.5 inches from where you have it right now.  The Kuryakyn would have to be modified to fit with this bike because of the amp being there, this bracket doesn't affect the amp.

Not to change topic here,  but I just moved my 06 tour pack all the way back a few days ago also.

Question, .... what is the unused little 3 wired plug inside the tour pack under the liner for ??

I can attach a pic if needed.

The plug is for the spoiler w/lights. The three wires are: ground, running light and brake light.

I could not pass up the opportunity for a little extra room! :-*
Called George on the 21st and he shipped same day.  Got my Tour Box Extender today.  Very nice work!
George is retired but very interesting work history.  I enjoyed chatting with him when I placed my order.
