do i need a remap my 2010 cvo street glide

i'am putting vance hines, catless head pipe and hi flow slip on's, do i need to remap, my stealer says that i don't, he says it will run fine, but i don't way any poping on decel, or any other problems.....thanks for the  input

I would like to see how this works for you as I am thinking of putting the Vance & Hines headers with the high output slipons

I spoke to my stealer about the same set up and they said yes to a remap.  I think you want to get the "lean" condition corrected and that's why it's recommended but not absolutely necessary.

my friend put on big sucker air cleaner and rhinehart slipons on stock 09 roadglide.bike runs fine no backfire and plugs look the same.

IMO, Find a dealer that knows what they are telling their customers. And yes, fuel management is a must

The factory system can correct for some changes but one needs to remember these are just coarse adjustments. They will not be able to handle your changes correctly. They will help but not fix it. You may end up with a bike that runs poorly in some areas why it runs good in other areas of the operating range. This is why you need to remap it. Had your modifications been simple slip-ons you might have been able to get away with it, but anything much more than that and it's just not going to happen correctly.
