It was sunny and warm here today. 58 degrees. So, My friend on his fire engine red "04" Goldwing and I went on a 163 mile ride. Nothing but flat barren farm ground to see but it felt great. We stopped at the Harley dealer in Danville, Illinois and I got to see a new Screamin Eagle Ultra in the green coloring. This first one of any color that I've personally seen. It was priced $34 something out the door.
To kind of keep this reply on topic, while leaving the Danville area, I saw a dark blue 1967 GTX broke down along the road. Evidently the owner thought the warm, sunny day would be a good one to stretch its legs. It was in good shape, so I imagine the owner was near-by.
My first Mopar was of that body style. I had a red 1966 Satellite. It was a 383, four speed on the console with black interior. I bought it used with 20,000 miles on it in 1968. The previous owner had installed headers and a bigger cam. Unfortunately he had not installed valve springs up to the job. It was easy to float the valves. It's amazing what good heads do for an engine, the stock 1968 Roadrunner would absolutely kill my Satellite.
Speaking of Roadrunners, the first one in our area was a red 1968 four speed. It had the taxi cab interior with rubber floor mats. What made it odd was that it was two-toned. How many two-toned Runners have you seen ? The top was painted black from the factory.
