OK, I can't help my tinkering self any longer and I need more data. The guys at the H-D parts counter can pull up the exploded diagrams for every component of the bike and I was wondering if these are available for the rest of us. I assume they are the shop manuals available through H-D?. I think I would prefer the digital vs printed manuals.

Is there an online source for these so I can purchase and download them? I saw that there are several for the Softails and a supplement for the CVO. If I want comprehensive coverage for all the components which ones do I need?

It is 20% off every day of the week.  This guy, bill, is super to deal with, and a quick shipper.  Occasionally, he will have free shipping on orders of $100 but more commonly with orders of $250 minimum.  But at 20% off (full Harley Retail) you can't afford not to get your stuff there.  You are going to buy oil, filters, manuals, and anything else you desire.  When I ordered my bike I didn't know about this guy.  I had already ordered 2800 dollars of parts so effectively waaaaasted almost $600 !  This guy is the way to go if you want to get that parts manual and he may also be able to get you the CD version if they make it.  He is most easily gotten ahold of via his email address sparks@lakeshoreharley.com.  Has an 800 number but easier to get him by mail.  
Concerning this manual, it has absolutely every part labeled, listed, and categorized, and a drawing of every piece of the bike.  Terrrrrrrific!   Check it out!  Used it just today.  And it is advantageous to get the Softail shop manual as well as the FLSTSE Supplement.  Then you don't have to call the shop and say, "you know this little 'thingy' that is connected to the whatchmacallit??"  Go forth and do great things!  Murrel

Thanks guys, that's just what I was looking for. Digging deeper I also found the Electrical Diagnostic Manual but that sounds like I may not need that one out of the gate. I have not seen it in digital form so the paper ones will do just fine.

Just a rapid question, do u receive any kind of tools with the ConV whether the mini one or the wrapped tools or this is limited to Touring?
