06' FLHTCUSE gone from 103CI to 107CI
« on: January 13, 2010, 09:51:06 PM »

It has been awhile, but after getting advice on several forums, my 06 FLHTCUSE (103CI) now has a 107CI motor.
NRHS build - went with the following:

NRHS Stage 2 CNC welded & ported TC 88 heads (1.90 intake and 1.615 exhaust) set to 87cc to achieve 10.2:1 static compression (swapped out my 103 heads)
Andrews Hydraulic Cam Conversion Kit with Andrews 54N cams
Bored Cylinders to 3.938 and installed CP 107FT forged pistons
Changed out injectors to SE 4.90 gms/sec
SE High Flow Air Cleaner and Rinehart True Duals with Performance Baffles
Dyno Tuned - SERT

I am picking up the bike Saturday 1/16 if the weather provides here in Denver Colorado.
The Tuner provided me with the dyno numbers today am I am pleased 104 HP and 112 TQ.

Again I just want to thank all of you who contributed your knowledge and expertise in helping me make educated choices.

Thank You,
Tom

Tom, how did you like the guys at NRHS? Their in Longmont right? I was thinking about having them do some work on two motors.

Remember if you have adjustable push rods to pay a little attentin to them.  I did a 106 motor in a similar build for a pal...ran good, strong.
He beat like the florida marine beats his meat and never checked the pushies..he broke one... :-X

Hey Topper,

Good to hear from you and I'll let you know how the bike feels after the weekend!

Tom

Lucky bum..... Mine is in the garage undercover and we have 14 inches of melting snow.  Salt is all over the roadways so riding is out until we get a nice rain or SPRING! I need to trailer some where LOL.

Keep us posted!

Tom, may hit 60 Saturday! You might be able to get the bike home, depending on what your local roads look like.

Craig,

Saturday looks good! I am in Southeast Denver and things have thawed nicely the last few days. The ride from the Dacono / Longmont area shouldn't be bad.
