I just obtained the production numbers for the 2009 Screaming Eagle Springer from the Motor Company.  They are as follows;

Yellow with Orange Flames - US (315), Foreign (95), Total (410)
Blue with Silver Flames - US (550), Foreign (212), Total (762)
Black with Greem Flames - US (745), Foreign (250), Total (995)
Special - US (4), Foreign (1), Total (5)

Total overall production - US (1,614), Foreign (558), Total (2,172)

And one of those US yellow ones is sitting in my garage!

From what I could derive from the person I spoke with, they are custom colors for Harley employees or "celebrity types".

So I was not so bad with my rough proxy, now I can revise my error margin from 80% to 40%

Just picked this up on the 17th.  Slighly used 2009 model with 2008 miles.  Original owner gave it a custom paint job.  Original paint was the black.  One could only guess how the specials look, but I very much like the custom paint on this one.
