If I understand what you mean then clutch starts to engage almost immediately as you release it.  To me that is a good thing as it gets you in the friction zone quickly.  I'm counting on the hydraulic clutch to keep mine adjusted that way.  LOL  [smiley=banana.gif]

I would agree with that, but when you're used to 2 fingering the clutch, this one's a pain in the @$$$!  I'm kind of hoping I can wear off some of that friction material, so the engagement point is little farther out. ;D

The hydraulic clutch is great in many ways, but you have come up against the one disadvantage - you can't adjust the engagement point like with a cable system.

That other thread is very informative. Thanks for the link!!  What's kind of sad is my now 20yr old H@$da (sold almost 10yrs ago) had a hydraulic clutch with an adjustable lever.  It was easy to get it to engage about 1/2 way out with full lock before it was all the way out.  Anyway, thanks for the info about bleeding the system, I'll have to try that this weekend.

Hey Steve,

I come to Cary, NC quite a bit maybe we can hook up. I had my Watermelon down there for two weeks last Oct.  Got to ride with the local Rolling Thunder...great time.  Went to Rockingham and watched the AHDRA.
I usaully fly in but will try and bring the bike if I am there more than a week.
