This new light bar thing aint gonna work on an existing ultra TP with the old light bar remover. This is how much of a gap is left with the new light in place. Guess I gotta order a Tour pack off of a clasic bike and get it painted.

I am thinking this new LED Tour-Pak/Tail Lamp Kit will not work on your 09.
YES, anything can be MADE to work.
What about the holes (big holes) left in the tour pak from removing the existing lights?
What about the Screamin Eagle script plate?
Who knows how the paint looks under that light bar.

I hope not, it probably took some beer also!
And thanks David for showing that 10 bar doesn't work.

NO, that was the space that was remaining, Keith at ridetime told me that. That's the difference in the part description King, TP and Ultra TP. King TP does not have the cut out for the lights. Ultra has the cut, since the LED light bar is shorter on the sides, and does not need the cut out you can only use the king TP

I may want to install the new HD Tour Pak light bar on my 03 Classic. --->  http://www.harley-davidson.com/browse/browse_zoom_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524448774741&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302491575&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302491575&bmUID=1264557982545&bmLocale=en_US

But I don't want to cover up the script.
Can anyone with a 10 SEUC take some measurements for me?
See the attached picture of my 03 Classic Tour Pak (click on it to enlarge) for dimensions needed.
I need the dimensions from the bottom of the tour pak to the bottom of the light bar.
And the left to right dimension on the bottom for my script to fit.
Any help would be appreciated.

Chip-

It is 4 3/4" from the bottom of the tourpack to the bottom of the light bar.   I stuck a yardstick out from the bottom of the tourpack and measured up from there.

The center light bar is 10 1/2" wide (11" if you include the divider strips between the center and end lights).

Hope this helps, Bob.

Thanks Bob!

That's gonna be tight.

How much could you raise the light bar before it touches the edge of the tour pak lid.

My script is 5 1/2" from the bottom of the TP to the top of the script.

Width wise I think it's OK.

Appreciate your help.

Oh man, is my wife goin' be pissed! Spent all that money on the light kit and liner and it won't work?? Plan "B" is to re-paint my other "King" tour Pak ... since it doesn't have any "light holes" cut in it, then swap the lids. FIRST: Must find out if the side lights on the base can be changed from one to another. If so My wife will still hate me but the painter will love me!! If those side running lights won't fit this whole project is toast!

Dadgummit! My Classic King Tour Pak is too old to transfer the side running lights too!! So plan "B" aint gonna work either. Now do I look for another Classic King to repaint, or just forget it and buy a new bike?

I'll take the new light bar off your hands if can't use it.
PM me if you want to get rid of it.
