I love my HOGTUNES... http://hogtunes.com/

Went "whole HOG" by upgrading from the 4 stock speakers and added the HOG POD Tweeter Bar for a 8 speaker sound system.

Great company to do business with - service & prices are super! :2vrolijk_21:

I have the Hog Tunes fairing lower speaker kit on my bike.  Excellent product; easy installation.  HT uses a molded speaker mount that aims the speaker at the rider.  Hawg wired makes excellent products and I considered their kit which uses a flush mount speaker mount.  For me, HW's price of $169 list for the speaker mount kit (no speakers included) was not as good a value as the HT kit (with speakers) for $169 purchased from Eastern Performance Cycles.

Where does the amp for the lower fairing speakers mount??

It goes inside your fairing on top of your radio.

Go onto the HOGTUNES website  http://hogtunes.com/index.html

Their installtion instructions are there under "Printed Manuals or you can even watch the video.

OK guys,Thanks for the help but one last question: For anyone using the lower fairing speakers, are you having any vibration problems. The lower fairings are somewhat flimsy and seem to vibrate as you ride due to the vented door. A re there any vibrations as a result of the speakers mounted here? Thanks again. :soapbox:

there are many folks on the forum, including me that have speakers in the lowers.  I have had no problems related to vibrations and have not heard of any here either.

I've had HOG TUNES installed in my lowers since they first were introduced and have never had any concerns about vibrations... Unless of course I've got the sound cranked listening to a great song and the bass pumping from the lowers!

HOG TUNES are great!

I just finished the installation of the complete Hog Tunes kit, includes the tweeter bar, 4 replacement speakers, and the two lowers. The amp in the Hog Tunes kit powers the two lowers.

System sounds great, haven't listened to it outside the garage yet but it's loud and clear!!!

Word of caution; be sure whoever you purchase the Hog Tunes system from......has orderd the correct kit for the CVO system. I had problems and "Pez" at Hog Tunes helped me determine the issues and got the correct stuff on way. Great product and great customer service!!!

By the way I had a painter here in Tennessee paint the tweeter bar in Canyon Copper...looks awesome I think he can match most any color, let me know if you need his contact info!
