Love mine too.  The H-D one is great because you don't have to look for the controller. I have an opener like a key fob and you still have to search for it in a coat pocket or your pouch.  The H-D one all you have to do is flick the Hi/Lows and the door opens.  It cracks up my friends when I pull into the drive and the door goes up and I drive right in.  They have to get off their bikes and enter a code or like stated above, have to search for the opener.

It is well worth the price for the receiver. Also check out the DEALERSHIP DISCOUNTS listing and get it for 20% less.

Ps. Don't feel bad I bought my bike used and did not get a tool kit either.  Some would say that they would rather have their own kit vs. the H-D one

My comment on tool-kits, is at least it is acknowledged that is comes with one.
When I purchased my FLHTCUSE3 from another dealer outside of where I live, and asked about the tool kit the salesman said it does not come with one.
My comment back was" A $36,000 motorcycle does not come with a tool kit?" He again said no, I went to the Sales Mgr. and he quickly correctly ther situation.
A Sad but True Story.
That Salesman probably owns the place now.

When I bought my 06 used, I made the dealer cough up a tool kit, all the salesman did was go over to another ultra on the floor and jerk it out of the saddlebag and said here you go.  Sooner or later someone was not going to get a tool kit.  Previous owner lost the garage door opener and swears the dealer never gave him the CVO key.

How do you lose a garage door opener?  It's on the freakin' wall!  I suppose if he never hooked it up, it could be laying around somewhere, but how do you lose something like that?

next time you pop the outer fairing off look and see if you have the sender, it's a little sraure gizmo mounted on lower right side (if you're standin in front of the scooter) and wired into your headlamp harness, if it's there you should be able to buy the receiver, wire it up to the opener button, press the buttons to sync it and there ya go.

If you didn't get the Harley door opener, don't despair.  There is a much better and more reliable opener available, and it's very low cost as well.

Oops.  I should have clarified my comment.  Relatively low cost to conceive, very high cost to maintain.  ;D

Joe,

If you haven't already got one, I have an extra receiver. PM me and we'll work something out if you're interested.
