Took Delivery of 2010 FLHTCUSE5 Amber/Citrus Saturday

Two local buds (Jim & Sid) and I traveled to New Castle Delaware (Mike’s Famous H-D) Saturday  with my trusty Stinger trailer in tow to pick up my beloved new bike. We met Ragtop (another 2010 Amber/Citrus owner) and shared a lunch together, finished the paperwork and got the new bike on the trailer. No easy task; kind of like loading a size 10 bike on a size 8 trailer but with a little perseverance the job got done. The salesman there, Lou and Mark were great hosts and I thank Mark for putting me on to Lou. it’s a class dealership, one of those that seems to have a pulse beat of activity. Everyone was helpful and friendly and it was a great day.  After the 120 miles home I had to part with the bike at the local dealer’s where the exhaust and some extra goodies will be added. I will be posting a detailed parts list of all the mods with pictures in a couple weeks when the bike is complete (at least for now). A few parts are on back-order causing a week or so delay. As a side note, the Stinger trailer http://www.stingertrailer.com/ gets poo-pooed now and then but its a quality item that has served me well for long trips with either my Fatboy or FX Springer over the years. The Ultra is another matter and it was a close fit all the way around. Pictured are Jim, Lou, Mark and Sid. Thanks fellas!!!

I think ya made the right choice.  I bought mine sight unseen, then saw the red one, finally saw the the blue one yesterday and pics of the limited black one.  Still think the "punkin" is the prettiest.  :pumpkin:

Funny, I actually bought sight unseen too. I have seen both the blue and the red. The chrome looks great on the blue and the red is cool looking as well. Gets down to very personal choices but I am in obvious agreement with you. Ed

I don't own an Ultra Classic.  And while my opinion matters to nobody but me........in my opinion the citrus and burnt amber is the best color for the 2010 SEUC! :2vrolijk_21: 

Nice wheels, too.  I rode beside Jon, 200 miles back home, when he picked his up.  I kept noticing how those wheels were catching the sunlight.  Just a lot of edges to them. :2vrolijk_21:  I asked him if he wanted to trade wheels straight across but he turned me down. :nixweiss:

VERY NICE! Congratulations, I was tempted to get that bike when I saw it right before I made the final decision on my 09', it was so impressive in person as oppose to pictures. Once again congrat's !   :2vrolijk_21:
