Alway makes me nervous drilling holes into a pricey tour pack... which is why I'm letting Jim do it. :)

HD has a different connector on the CVO bikes than the standard... and of course this piece come equipped with the standard connector so Jim worked his magic and made it custom.

Jim also routed the wiring through the bottom of the pack making for a cleaner look...

Factory the bar includes the center section as run/brake and outsides as run only. I had Jim wire them outsides at Turns instead...

Jim (hd-dude) rocked it on the project and is just a great guy... Gonna add some "subtle" pin striping and a few accebts on the side but the black on sliver with smoked lenses really looks sharp IMO. Thanks to Jim for another job well done!

We ran out of time for the stereo upgrade but will get that done next week.

This picture of my Tour Pak.

I have thought of going with that leather tour pak- looks real nice, and comes in cheaper that getting the electric orange one....how do you find it for storage compared to the regular king TP? The specs on it show it is not as big, cubic inch wise, and I read somewhere you can only fit one full face helmet in there (compared to 2 in the plastic king TP)....curious to know in the real world, how much less storage is it in comparison?

great job.  I did mine the same way except for wiring of the turn signals to the tour pak light.
Sometimes less is better and in this case the wrap around lights as well as the side lights breaks up the tour pak nicely.  IMO additional graphic are not needed.

This is a picture of the metal plate HD uses in the bottom of the Premium Leather (CVO Ultra) tour pak sitting in the bottom of an Ultra King tour pak

Can't provide any cubic inch data but the picture shows the difference, at least in the bottom foot print, of the two tour paks.

nice comparision, thanks...thinkin I'll go for the king- first time I used one was 2 weeks ago when we toured Arizona for a week- it was tight, but it held a good weeks worth of stuff. I wonder if your average auto body painter could paint the $500 cheaper vivid black pack electric orange....
