Do it yourself Fairing Speakers???
« on: February 03, 2010, 09:47:57 AM »

What are you guys using for a radio and speakers on a dragon fly fairing? $699 seems a little pricey from their website. Has anyone been able to do it cheaper? I would like to be able to incorporate some type of quck disconnect too. Thanks

You will have to forgive me, its been some 15 years since I have fooled around with radios, I thought I out grew that stage, LOL. Am I going to need an amp as well, hope it at least has a little bass to it and not just some very high pitch noise that it seems a lot of others have that I heard. Thanks

looks like decent choices, i thing to keep in mind, like most marine units its only 17w per channel at 70mph plus its not gonna sound crystal clear

amps are an option but now you are adding $$$$$ and making the system less detachable
