Jr,

Curious as well. I'd like to have these pegs also, or the wife would. I called Kuryakyn tech support today to see what they had to say. He told me they would not work because the passenger floor boards are too long. OK, so I asked if there was any way to get around that, adapt etc., and he said he didn't know of anything.

In your pictures it appears to be the same floorboard as on the FLHTCUSE, (great pictures by the way) curious if you or anyone might know if they are the same. If so, it looks like there isn't any problem at all. I wonder if it's just about getting the boards extended out a bit?

Mine is now set to ship February 15th so it will be a while before I can try anything.

Thanks for the information!

I've had these on my last three dressers and my wife loves them.

JR,
Thanks for the pictures that looks awesome.  Few questions though...

1. The link you posted is for footboard bracket. Is that what is needed to extend stock floorboards out so you can use the Kurykan part (since on the Kurykan website they say they will not work with FLHTCSE/2 & FLHTCUSE)? First of all, I DO NOT have Rineharts so I can't speak what is needed for them! The 53070-00 chrome supports were replaced because of the need for the square shoulders on supports compared to our stylish rounded ones that come stock on ours.

2. I appears you are still using your stock floorboards is that correct? YES!

3. I'm rather long legged and normally keep passenger floorboards up when no passenger on board. Can you still have floorboard up when this Kurukan part is in one of the back positions so they both will be out the way?  Yes, I will show a picture of this.

Thanks again.

Greg, as you can see in the picture above there is plenty of room in front of and behind the floorboards! Can't imagine what that guy from Kuryakyn was refering to. And I believe our floor boards are identical on my SEEG and your FLHTCUSE. I saw one at our dealer months back and they looked identical. [smiley=nixweiss.gif] If you don't have Rineharts the only thing I swapped out was the chrome brackets.

I was curious why kuryakyn told you what they did so I called them myself. I talked with Gene and explained I bought the chrome mounts 53070-00 from HD. He said they have only found the stock black ones to work with them, that the chrome ones were cut different and would not bolt all way up and people would brake inserts that hold pegs. I told him if he wanted to see pictures on this website he can see the mounts on mine are flush and have been on my bike a year in April and no problems.

I asked if they have any chrome ones out and he said they have a batch comming in in Feb. the part number is 4536 and sells for $99 on kuryakyn's website. I went to M&M's and see you can get them for $79.96 which is alot cheaper than I spent and It is from Kuryakyn for thier pegs. I believe I would buy from here http://www.mandmcycles.com/homepage.htm Click on online catalog and type in #4536 and look for kuryakyn. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Also asked about rineharts and he said that does need a bracket on left side that comes out a little further.

Hope this helps! God Bless!

UPS just dropped off my Kuryakyn parts. The #7926 Adjustable pegs, the#4536 Chrome
board mounts, & the #4537 extended left side board mount which is needed to clear the Rinehart pipe.(The mount is 2 inches longer). One problem, the extended left mount is BLACK!. Now I
have to send it to Brown's Plating to have it Chromed. Oh well, what's another $75.00. At least I've got an extra chrome short board mount that can hang on my garage wall.

Just a quickie note about these that I found worked better for my wife who has longgggggg legs.  #1,,,the SE chrome brackets on my 05 CVO Electrtaglide were sorta round and they would not bolt up.  I had a pair of chrome brackets I took off my 02 and they fit fine.

#2  I turned my pegs around,,,left side to the right,,,right one to the left.  This allows the foot peg to lay down flat toward the front of the bike allowing the passenger to stretch out a bit more.  The main problem with this is the left peg when in the front layed down position hits the derby cover.  I made a spacer for the left side, drilled the hole for the bolt, another smaller hole for a piece of drill rod to hold it firm into the frame, then a longer bolt to bolt the whole bracket back on the bike.  Just a thought, but it works for her better.

I put these on my 2006 FLHTCUSE. Had to buy the HD chrome footboard mounts (squared) as the ones that came with the bike are rounded.  :-[ I don't have Rineharts. Right side went on fine. Had to put a washer between the left footboard mount and the bike frame as the footboard would otherwise hit the derby cover. Works great! Be SURE to use loctite BLUE on all the bolts on install.

I have a set of the Kuryakyn adjustable passenger footpegs and they will NOT fit on the 2006 FLHTCUSE rear floorboard mounts. Anyone out there have a set of chrome footboard mounts they want to swap me for the FLHTCUSE floorboard mounts. I've used the passenger pegs for over 40K worth of touring on two seperate bikes and my wife is really up my a$$ to get them installed on the 06. :D
